I was shocked at this building & pest inspection in Cranbourne to find this tree pushing hard against the house.
It is bewildering why anyone would plant a tree this close to the side of a building. Palm trees do not have an extensive root system, however it could still cause damage this close to the foundations. Furthermore, have a look at how it’s squashed the gutter. During heavy storms and winds this tree would be placing excessive, unwanted force against the roof structure. This is just one of the hundreds of defects BIA comes across daily.
